Where

  • Throne room, left side
  • Challenge opens after your first loss to Queen

Unlocks

  • Every win: 300G, 1 Royal Emblem, and 1 Royal Diamond
  • First eligible win: Grip manual; after Lab A, a later eligible win awards the Surge manual
  • After learning both: win once for a one-tile retreat, complete one Empress battle (win or loss), then challenge Vera again
  • Win that rematch for a three-tile retreat and the throne-back scene; losing to Vera consumes the interval, so complete another Empress battle before retrying
  • The victory Picture clears before Vera retreats; after the scene she visibly walks four tiles back to her guard post
  • Lose: battle-loss scene only and no battle reward; it does not unlock the throne-back scene
  • Location note, with no Vera-win requirement: while Empress is in Laundry, Vera appears at the Pool; after that one-time Pool scene, Vera remains available in Laundry

How To Win

  • Use the six-move table below
  • Grab Block is the only answer to Armpit Grab
  • Trap CGs usually require attacking during the telegraph; other wrong inputs may only cause a normal hit
